Sara was born and raised in a small town
known as Holton, Michigan to Alan and Polly
Wilson.

Sara has been interested in creative
expression since her primitive beginnings as
a child.

Currently studying illustration at Indiana
Wesleyan University, Sara is striving to
create imagery that expresses dream-like
ideas, stories, and concepts that express
forgotten fairy-tales hidden in the mysteries
and innocence of childhood.

Most of Sara’s illustrations and paintings
are created using digital tools, such as Photoshop
and a tablet. Even so, Traditional mediums are slowly
being introduced into her work, creating a unique
variety of styles, textures, and colors .

I just love photography. In 1993, I took my first and only photography class while in college. It taught black and white photography and how to develop in a darkroom. This process was amazing and I actually became a little obsessed with it. Although everything in my darkroom is now digital, the process of art creation continues to provide me with exhilaration and peace at the same time.

I love shapes, composition and simple soothing color. These are definitely the things I look for when photographing a subject.
